I will begin this article by extending my commendation to the dedicated team behind the Magazine. Their unwavering commitment to consistently delivering quality content in every edition is truly commendable.
Society is in a constant state of evolution and growth; a process that involves everyone. The notion of women being held back is something I strongly oppose. Both genders have evolved, recognizing the inherent flaws in outdated value systems. As society progresses, individuals gain a deeper understanding, leading to women assuming more prominent roles. An inclusive society, in my view, is one where everyone progresses together. Even animals receive better treatment in civilized societies nowadays due to improved understanding.
My thoughts on inspiring others…
I don’t claim to be the sole source of inspiration for other women, as strength can be drawn from various sources, directly or indirectly. Our aspirations are often validated by witnessing the achievements of those who have paved the way before us. I firmly believe that inspiration can be derived from diverse individuals, and I acknowledge that some women may look up to me just as I look up to others. Great accomplishments are being achieved by women worldwide, and no single person holds the spotlight at any given time.
My thoughts on finance…
Financial security is essential for everyone, irrespective of gender. Women must attain financial independence without compromising their sense of self-worth or rational decision-making. Financial security, to me, is about meeting personal needs and providing assistance where necessary, rather than being a status symbol.
My thoughts on healthcare…
Advancements in technology and medical science have significantly improved women’s healthcare, granting greater access to care compared to the past. While societal pressures may compel women to prioritize their appearance, the importance of feeling good about oneself cannot be denied, even if it’s inconvenient at times.
My thoughts on diversity and inclusion…
Regarding diversity hires, perceptions vary, but it’s evident that progress is being made in breaking down barriers and implementing change. Women have always possessed strength, historically shaping society, and are now more visible in leadership roles due to evolving thought patterns and values.
My thoughts on women supporting women…
Supporting women shouldn’t be viewed as a favour but rather as a means to ensure fair competition and equal opportunities. Women must advocate for better platforms and policies, recognising their rightful place in society.
Regarding performance allies, it’s disheartening when individuals acknowledge issues but fail to act. Every role carries responsibilities and neglecting them only perpetuates existing challenges. Collaboration and support among women are essential, but this doesn’t mean compromising on firmness when necessary. Constructive conversations are welcomed, as they provide an opportunity for growth and empowerment.
