As a marketer, the highlight of my workday is receiving an email or message that says, “Please see attached credit note” or “Attached is the EOP.” These messages are no secret to those who know me, as they give me what I like to call “CRODASM” – a feeling of immense satisfaction that comes from closing a transaction.
For Business Development professionals, these emails validate your significance within the organisation. They serve as evidence of being a valuable player (VP), and the more frequent they come, the closer you get to achieving legendary status, earning nicknames like “Performer” and MVP.
Being recognised as an MVP is undeniably thrilling and something every dedicated marketer aspires to achieve. Personally, I have been fortunate to be referred to with the aforementioned monikers, including one “MP” (which I can’t reveal here), and it has fuelled my enthusiasm on this journey.
