I never knew a letter could bring me so much joy and at the same time open up so many possibilities for me. I have always been anxious and afraid of change. Getting my offer letter and choosing to work for Avon Medical was a huge milestone that made me address these issues and move out of my comfort zone; because I would be joining the team from an entirely different background.
Joining Avon Medical was the second-best decision I made this year.
Since I resumed, my immense gratitude continually grows, especially towards the intelligent and empathetic minds of the people I call my colleagues. I am thankful to have a leader that pushes me to amplify my strengths and builds on my weaknesses, giving me the adequate space to grow while watering me with enough motivation, discipline, and knowledge.
Working with my other colleagues has also taught me to become more emotionally intelligent and empathetic, as I have met so many diverse people with different backgrounds. Every day is a new challenge, and I am thankful to have a workplace that fosters my growth.
After a long, stressful, and rewarding day, I am thankful for the free lunch to give me energy and the staff bus that makes my journey home easier, safer, and smoother. In the chaotic world we live in today, I am thankful to be a part of a company that considers making our lives easier a priority.
When things become chaotic, or when I start to feel a little overwhelmed with work pressure, I begin to list out all the things and people I am thankful for, and I always find the energy I need to get through the day.
From the constant free lunch at work to inside jokes with colleagues, to dependable leaders, choosing to always find reasons to be thankful was the best decision I made this year.
