What are your most exciting experiences as a father?
When I hold our baby during playtime, and she looks at me with a smile on her face coupled with putting her to sleep on my chest.
What were your most traumatic experiences as a new father?
Having to watch the bathing of a newborn that’s so fragile with the thought that she might break, or something might happen😯
How do you balance work and supporting your new family?
I make sure I get home in good time especially after work and at weekends. I consciously create time for my family and make time for work as well.
When it comes to raising a child, what’s the best advice you’ve ever received and how do you apply or plan to apply that to raising your baby?
Try not to be an absentee father, be part of your child’s life. I want to be there for our baby while also making out time for my wife. I try as much as possible to bond with her (our baby) whenever I return from work or anywhere.
What’s one piece of practical advice you wish you knew sooner?
Caring for a newborn is very sacrificial, it requires much time and attention with lots of sleepless nights.
