When and how did you discover your love for video games?
I discovered my love for Video games at a very young age when a classmate came to school with one. I just knew I had to have it
Who got you your first game and what did it feel like?
My parents got me my first game (PolyStation) cos I did well that term in school. It felt really good. I just can’t describe it. I was so excited that I couldn’t eat all day. Just wanted to unbox it and start playing.
What is it about video games that make it worth the brag?
One word -High scores (clearing difficult hurdles and besting your friends on the leaderboard)
If you could choose video games and a night out with friends, which would you go for?
Easy peasy – night in with friends playing video games. Why? because my friends are cool like that
As a young professional, how do video games help you relax?
When immersed in the virtual world of video games whether it is slaying dragons with my magic sword or taking down Nazi’s in world war 2. I am able to push all worries to the back of my mind and feel really relaxed after.
Will you recommend it for your colleagues? Why?
Definitely. Video games don’t only relieve stress, studies have shown that it improves your decision making, analytical thinking process and improves your creativity.
In 2019, what games are you looking forward to and why?
Fortnite, Fifa 2020 and Modern combat. This is because these games pushes creativity, graphics technology and cognitive abilities to the edge.
What advise do you have for people who have never played or enjoyed video games before?
Come over to the right side of the force and as you discover and immerse yourself in it, may the odds be forever in your favour.
