From the road trip to the bonding exercises, my UCT Erin Ijesha experience will forever bring fond memories to my heart. Little wonder why it was hash tagged ‘ifyouknowyouknow!’
I had never been to the Olumirin Waterfalls before so I was quite excited when it was chosen as the location for our Team Bonding. I was eager to experience a new sight and satisfy my budding wanderlust.
It was not what I expected…rather the experience was over and beyond!
The highlight of the trip for me was my team’s BONDING!!! The games we played on the bus made it clear that we were all ready to let loose and get to know each other better in a relaxed atmosphere. If I still had any doubt, they were all cleared when we began the climb to the waterfall which was quite difficult and tricky to manoeuvre. Everyone helped and encouraged each other as we climbed the first two, very steep (if I might add), levels of the mountain.
The view up there was great which made for awesome social media selfies, ‘wefies’, ‘bothies’, and the likes (lol).
Back at the hotel, it was more fun, games, dancing, and loads of pictures to ensure that the memories last a lifetime.
