What gets you out of bed in the morning?
On a lighter note 24th of the month…loool.
Actually, it’s my vision of the future.
What three words would you use to describe your role?
Funds, Management and Assets.
If you could switch jobs with someone, who would it be and why?
I love what I am doing for now and at the moment, so I don’t desire to switch.
If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor? (feel free to choose from within the Group)
They are many from Martin Luther, John D Rockefeller… But within the Group I will pick Bukky Ikeotuonye (Fund Manager) as my mentor.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Power to make a world decree and create immediate order that must be complied with. The reason is that I see so many things I want us as a nation and continent and a globe should be and I see so many disorder. Let’s make the world a better place, you know.
If I granted you one wish to change the world what would it be and why?
My wish will be that Africa and Nigeria take their place of pride worldwide, because this great country is being disrespected on so many fronts, and we are bedevilled with so many negative stereotypes. You carry the green passport and you are seen as the one to be harassed at the airport. But times are changing, some of us are bringing a great change to this Nation. Only time will tell.
Given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?
The President of Nigeria…. LOL everyone likes better thing
What is the favorite part of working for United Capital Trustees Limited?
Aww it’s the people, the atmosphere of love, the ambience of friendliness and unity of working towards the progress of the business.
What do you think about when you’re alone in your car?
How best can I impact my generation and leave a mark on the sands of time?
In addition what I can do to make Nigeria and Africa realize thGod-given potential? I also think about my family (especially my Wifey I call her M.A). So I get to listen to more of messages, inspirational talks and songs.
If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?
LION…The King of the jungle……The Lion is always in control and has great influence.
Tell me something we don’t know about you in the office.
Well, many now know that I do gospel movies but many don’t also know that I am an Lt Officer in the Boys Brigade and also a Member of Nigerian Red Cross amongst many other things like my passion for championing financial literacy (I believe many people don’t take advantage of financial products not because they don’t have the means but because they lack the know-how of its workings)
Etc
Hobbies:
Reading, Meditating, Travelling, Meeting people, playing football.
Teach me something I don’t know in the next five minutes. (I hear that you are a good poet)
(Smiles) but I won’t be teaching poem today. ..lool…let me teach you financial literacy in 7 lines
Financial Literacy is the ability to make informed judgments and to make effective decisions regarding the use and management of money, and ability to take advantage of financial products in the financial system as the system plays a crucial role in the process of financial intermediation in particular to the growth of the economy as a whole.
Hence, a better understanding of how it works and what they offer and how to utilize the financial products by the participants of the economy help to create a viable financial system and in turn enhance economic development.
The need for financial literacy can’t be over emphasized in this our time.
