To mark International Women’s Day, we are encouraging all women to spend a little time on themselves and think about their health. So, here’s a personal health checklist for all women at all ages.
Whether in your 20s or well into your 70s, prevention is the key to sustaining health and vitality. Follow these simple tips to maintain good health and peace of mind – from your youth well into your golden years.
- Stop smoking
- Eat healthy, eat well
- Get moving
- Drink alcohol in moderation (if at all)
- Laugh and smile to reduce stress
- Get enough sleep
- Drink water. Lots of it
- Look after your teeth
- Know your health risks
- Stay away from unhealthy treats
