After celebrating her 25th birthday again probably for the 11th time, the effervescent Atinuke shares the spiciest details about her life.
1. What is your favourite food?
Fried yam chips with peppered kidney sauce.
2. What is the funniest thing that happened to you recently?
I saw myself seriously bargaining with a nice lady at the Lekki toll booth to let me through, because I had no money on me to pay her. She let me through eventually but not after telling her that she had killer dimples and kind looking eyes.
She didn’t believe me. We both knew I was lying.
3. What were you like in secondary school?
Oh my days…I still smile when I think of my secondary school days. I was a hyper version of what I am now…hard to imagine right?
4. What one thing about you would we never find in your CV?
I really wanted to be a magician when I grew up. I was crushed when my folks said “NEVER”.
5. If you were given a million dollars, how would you spend it?
At what exchange rate? N490 to $1…you do know that is N490,000,000.00 right!!! That’s almost half a billion Naira.
Please who would give me that kind of money without the EFCC coming after me? This your question is raising more questions than answers o. lol.
6. What was the last book you read?
Toke Makinwa’s book – “On Becoming”.
7. Would you watch an action, romance, or comedy movie at the cinema?
Why don’t you have thriller in your category? I would prefer to watch a thriller.
8. What’s your dream way to spend a vacation?…
Long walks on the beach, listening to poetry recitals in the evenings, walking through museums and soaking in rich culture from all round the world …you get the drift.
9. If you woke up and had 2,000 unread emails and could only answer 300 of them, how would you choose which ones to answer?
I will punch in “Tony Elumelu”, attend to his mails first, then move on to “Obong Idiong” and finally “Udochi”.
It’s called crises management.
10.Describe the colour ‘red’ to someone who is blind
Red looks like dangling off the edge of a cliff suspended with just a rope, and it finally snaps and you free fall into crocodiles waiting in the water below.
DANGER.
11.How would you describe true love to a 6-year old?
Love is when you go out to eat and you give somebody most of your french-fries without making them give you any of yours.
12.If you were the President of Nigeria for a day, what would you do with your 24 hours?
Draw up a proper matrix for the forex allocation to all key sectors in the country, especially with the current scarcity of forex right now. Take some work load off Fashola before they kill the man for his family.
13.What was your best birthday ever and how did you spend it?
Awwwww…I like this question.
So yesterday, I turned 25 again for the 11th time and boy was it super! Everyone came out to Jollof with me…I mean everyone!
I felt like a princess in a magical garden. This birthday will hold the title for best birthday ever. Who knows, next year may trump it…but until then right?
TeeKay, my friend. The interview started well but then dovetailed into the kind of questions that will not get the best of Atinuke. The last question was more like it. I am trying to imagine what secondary school was like for Atinuke – hyper venom. Lol.
John, I disagree o, I especially liked the presidential question, ‘Teekay for President 2019….or is it 2020’!
I like the crises management!
Smart babe.
