On April 27, The Ogun State Government hosted a number of 2015 and 2016 Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurs together with some of their mentors to an interactive session in Abeokuta, the state capital. The session which held at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry was coordinated by Otunba Bello Ashiru, the Honourable Commissioner and Abimbola Adebakin, the Chief Operating Officer of the Tony Elumelu Foundation.
The commissioner who promised that the state would lend a helping hand to the entrepreneurs, urged them to keep their integrity and keep pushing their business ideas regardless of any challenges encountered along the way.
Alhaji Ibikunle Amosun, the state governor met briefly with the entrepreneurs and was presented with a leadership board game by Akinnike Oluwatobilola of the Young Protégé Leadership Foundation. Oluwatobilola, a 2016 Tony Elumelu Entrepreneur, runs the foundation to educate and mentor teenagers across the state.
