The Global Magazine, on Thursday, October 2, 2015 honoured Chairman, Heirs Holdings, Tony O. Elumelu and the co-chair of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Bill Gates for their commitments to the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) at the 2015 MDG Media Awards held at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja-Lagos yesterday.

As she received the award on behalf of the chairman, Bola Atta said: ‘ There is nobody more deserving of this award than Mr. Elumelu”. The publisher of the MDG global magazine, Chuks Nwoko, also added that Tony Elumelu was being honoured for his unique role and contribution to the achievement of the MDGs in Nigeria.
