The Foundation’s flagship programme, The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme, is the $100 million commitment launched in 2015 to identify, fund, mentor, and train 10,000 African entrepreneurs over 10 years; an investment in Africa’s future. In ten years, we have impacted over 21,000 beneficiaries with over $100 million in direct seed capital funding, created over 1.5 million jobs and $4.2 billion in revenue, and supported our network of 2.5 million Africans with access to trainings on TEFConnect.

The Foundation’s long-term investment in empowering African entrepreneurs is emblematic of Tony Elumelu’s philosophy of Africapitalism, which position’s Africa’s private sector, and most importantly, entrepreneurs, as the catalyst for the social and economic development of the continent
