Lagos, Nigeria – June 7, 2024 – Heirs Holdings, Africa’s leading investment company, is pleased to announce the recent appointments of its top executives to key board positions, further reinforcing the company’s leadership in the African business landscape.

Emmanuel Nnorom, Group CEO of Heirs Holdings, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of United Bank for Africa Plc. (UBA), effective April 30, 2024. This appointment, approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on May 13, 2024, marks a significant milestone in Mr. Nnorom’s illustrious career. He brings over a decade of experience, having served as a dedicated member of the Board at Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp), where he made substantial contributions, notably as the Chairman of the Finance and Investment Committee.

In a parallel development, Chiugo Ndubisi, Group Executive Director of Heirs Holdings, responsible for Investments and Integration at Heirs Holdings Limited, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Transcorp Plc.  With over 25 years in banking, Mr. Ndubisi’s career is rich with experience. He was the Executive Director of Treasury & International Banking at United Bank for Africa (UBA), where he managed the Treasury Business across the Group and supervised the bank’s international subsidiaries in the USA, UK, France, and Dubai. Prior to this role, he held several other key positions at UBA before joining Heirs Holdings.
