Chairman, Heirs Holdings, Tony O Elumelu was present at the Nairobi Securities Exchange to ring the opening bell. Recognised as the leading Exchange in Africa and the second best-performing Exchange in the world, he lauded the Exchange’s involvement in propping up small and medium enterprises. The opening bell was performed on Thursday, April 12, 2018.
The bell ringing ceremony was one of the many events Elumelu was scheduled to attend during the UBA sponsored Founders’ Forum, a tour to engage the youth demographic in select African countries on Africapitalism and Entrepreneurship.
The Founders Forum is an initiative of Heirs Holdings’ philanthropic arm, Tony Elumelu Foundation.
