Heirs Holdings Group Chairman, Tony O. Elumelu C.F.R., is slated to participate at the Nigeria-India Presidential Roundtable and Conference on Friday, September 8th, 2023, in New Delhi, India, at the invitation of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E. Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The event themed, “Business Partnership with Renewed Hope for a Diversified and Prosperous Economy,” will be hosted by the High Commission of Nigeria to India in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Nigeria India Business Council (NIBC). This gathering is set to take place on the sidelines of the 18th G20 Summit in India.
Notably, Mr. Elumelu was appointed as the co-chair of the Action Council on African Economic Integration of the Business 20 (B20) alongside Sunil Mittal, Founder of Bharti Enterprises (Owners of Airtel); one of the most prominent official engagement groups in G20. The Action Council recently released a policy paper outlining key priority areas necessary for Africa’s economic integration.
Established in 2010 within the G20, the B20 comprises corporate business enterprises and organisations and serves as the official platform for dialogue between the G20 and the global business community.
